8.1. Growhouse System Overview
Players may establish a Growhouse, a customizable base that allows cultivation, crafting, upgrading, and community interaction. It becomes a core mechanic for long-term campaigns, offering a hub for downtime and strategic resource management.
Starting a Growhouse
- Requires: A plot of fertile land (DM determined), 50g in tools/seeds, and a successful Weedcraft DC 15
- Growhouse types:
- Green Den (Stealth-focused)
- Solar Grove (Magic-focused)
- Trimmertown Lot (Urban, trade-focused)
- Living Grove (Sentient plant companion grows with it)
Growhouse Stats
Each Growhouse has these basic stats:
- Yield Cap: Number of plants that can be grown at once
- Processing Slots: Number of products you can process/cure simultaneously
- Defensive Rating: Resistance to raids/sabotage
- Aura: Passive area bonus (e.g., +1 to HC rolls while in the Growhouse)
8.2. Cultivation Mechanics
Grow Cycle Steps

- Requires seeds, soil, container or terrain type
- Roll Weedcraft (DC 10–20 based on environment)
